If I told you I was this super fitness type of girl who only ate the healthiest of things I would be lying. However, I do enjoy a good run and being active when I’m in the mood and that is about 0 to 3 times a week. My newest craze is going into classes such as barre and feeling the burn there instead of just jogging in intervals around my neighborhood or hitting the gym.
Barre (pronounced bar) is a workout that incorporates ballet, aerobics, and yoga all in one so last night I had the dumbells and the bands, but during another class on a similar day, we may just stick to the dancing side of things. It’s a really good way to spice things up and tone up while you’re doing it.
Admittedly I stumbled across this by googling studios and what the latest workout craze was some this time last year and fell upon barre and with that, I fell in love. It honestly is worth a try whether you’re in tip-top shape or eating potato chips on the couch is your workout of choice (I don’t blame you sister) anyone can and will enjoy barre. So find you a studio or go on Pinterest and find a nice at home regimen to do and let me know how you like it!
